About Me

I am a third-year PhD student at the College of Information and Computer Sciences (CICS) in University of Massachusetts Amherst, advised by Prof. Ramesh K. Sitaraman. I also work closely with Prof. Prashant Shenoy. My research interests are broadly Sustainable Computing, Distributed Systems, and Networking. My current research focuses on making edge and cloud computing sustainable and carbon-free, as part of the CarbonFirst project at UMass.

Prior to this, I completed my Master's from IIT-Bombay under the supervision of Prof. Mythili Vutukuru. There, I designed and developed a high-performance User Plane Function (UPF) dataplane in 5G as part of my thesis.

Besides academics, I am really passionate about football (soccer). I follow the EPL regularly, and am up anytime for any football related discussion.
